THE HEALTH BUS (MANUKAU SUPERCLINIC)
The Manukau Superclinic operates a free bus service to the Manukau Superclinic for those patients who are unable to access either their own transport or public transport.
The Bus will collect patients to come to their appointment from one of the stops listed below, closest to where the patient lives. After the appointment the Bus will deliver the patient back to the closest bus stop.
Each patient will be able to bring one caregiver, or relative or one friend. In the case of a child, both parents may wish to come to the Superclinic with their child.
The Health Bus Route will be:
Otara Bus stops at Alexander Crescent (Clyde Road Superette), 30 mins past the hour Middlemore Hospital Main Entrance (Galbraith Bldg/Drop off zone) 40 mins past the hour Mangere Town Centre Wadden Place (at Southwalk Sign) 55 mins past the hour Manukau City Centre Outside Deka 5 mins past the hour Homai College Railway Station 10 mins past the hour Manukau Superclinic Main Entrance (Greath South Road) 15 mins past the hour
Then back to Otara – arrives at 30 minutes past the hour.
The first bus for the morning leaves Otara at 7.30am, then 8.30am, 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am
In the afternoon, the first bus leaves Otara at 12.30pm, then 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm.
PATIENTS MUST BRING THEIR LETTER WITH THEM TO GET ONTO THE HEALTH BUS.
