There are new services from the Glenfield area and Chatswood running to and from AUT and University of Auckland. These services are operated by Birkenhead Transport.
Route 951 departs opposite Glenfield Mall (outside McDonalds) and travels via Manuka Rd, Easton Park Parade, Kaipatiki Rd, Contessa Dr, Tamahere Dr, Seaview Rd, Roberts Rd, Glenfield Rd, Onewa Rd via motorway, Fanshawe St, Wellesley St to stop by Lorne St. Then returns via Princes St, Waterloo Quadrant, Anzac Ave, Customs St, Lower Albert St, Quay St, Hobson St, Fanshawe St via motorway, Onewa Rd, Glenfield Rd, to opposite Glenfield Mall.
Route 979 departs Balmain Rd and travels via Onetaunga Rd, Chelsea View Dr, Porritt Ave, Mokoia Rd, Highbury Shops, Onewa Rd via motorway, Fanshawe St, Wellesley St to stop by Lorne St. Then returns via Princes St, Waterloo Quadrant, Anzac Ave, Customs St, Lower Albert St, Quay St, Hobson St, Fanshawe St via motorway, Onewa Rd, Highbury Shops then to Chatswood.
