City Circuit

The free ‘City Circuit’ buses started rolling on Auckland streets on Monday September 30 2002, moving passengers clockwise in a loop around key destinations such as The Edge entertainment area, Auckland University, the Viaduct Basin and Queen Street (see map) every 10 minutes, from 8am to 6pm every day, including weekends.

The map shows all 11 bus stops used including 2 new stops:
  • Britomart stop D9 (Queen St near Customs St)
  • Federal St outside the Casino
There are bright red timetable cases at all stops to help make them easily identifiable.

There are buses dedicated to this route, bright red in colour to help distinguish them from other services.
