Ritchies
Multi-journey fares, Stored Value and Monthly passes are programmed on to Ritchies Ezipass smart cards. Cards require a $10.00 bond and can be obtained from a Ritchies driver only. Passes are loaded and topped up on the bus with the driver.
Urban Express
Multi-journey passes are programmed onto Urban Express smart cards. Cards require a $10.00 bond and can be obtained from the driver and can be recharged on the bus as required.
Tertiary fares are loaded onto smart cards and can only be obtained from the Auckland University Students Association. Drivers cannot sell these fares, or top up cards.
Howick and Eastern
Multi-journey fares, Stored Value, Monthly and Tertiary passes are programmed on to Howick and Eastern Ezipass smart cards. Cards require a $10.00 bond and can be obtained from the driver, the bus depot located at 380 Ti Rakau Drive or the ticket office on the ground floor of the Britomart Transport Centre. The passes can be loaded and topped up with the driver.
